Many working class families in Iran sent their men to battle against Saddam Hussein during Iran’s eight-year long war with Iraq. On one summer’s night, hundreds of worshipers from a poor neighborhood in Tehran gathered at a mosque to welcome home the recently discovered remains of an ‘unknown soldier’.
